Human Review and AI-Assisted Hiring

Human Review and AI-Assisted Hiring

TruTalent®’s artificial intelligence (AI) features are designed to support decision-making by helping users organize information, generate insights, and better understand candidate-job alignment. These features should not be used as the sole basis for hiring or employment decisions.

Users are responsible for reviewing and validating AI-generated content, match scores, summaries, and TalentScout responses before acting on them. TruTalent’s AI features do not independently select candidates, reject applicants, or make employment decisions. Final hiring and employment decisions remain the responsibility of the employer or hiring team.

AI-generated results may vary depending on the information provided, how a question is phrased, and the context available at the time. The quality of the output also depends on the completeness, clarity, and consistency of the information entered into the platform. Incomplete resumes, unclear job descriptions, or unconventional wording may affect the usefulness or accuracy of generated results. If an employer initiates a candidate rematch, AI-generated match results may change, sometimes significantly, based on the information available and the model's interpretation of job requirements and candidate qualifications. Protected attributes are excluded from AI-generated match results and are not used as part of the matching process. TruTalent is designed to help employers focus on job-relevant qualifications while reducing the influence of unconscious biases that can affect hiring decisions.

Users should also understand that AI-generated outputs may not always be complete, accurate, or contextually appropriate. Features such as classification, matching, and content review may occasionally overlook relevant information, produce incomplete results, or flag content that does not require action. For this reason, generated content, including job descriptions, summaries, assessment insights, and match explanations, should be reviewed as needed for accuracy, fairness, and compliance. For example, employers can review the explanations associated with match percentages to better understand the factors that contributed to a candidate's match score.

TruTalent’s AI outputs are intended to help users work more efficiently and make more informed decisions. They should always be used alongside human judgment, organizational policies, and applicable laws and regulations. Employers remain responsible for ensuring that all hiring and employment decisions comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
